MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls launches globally on August 6, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PC via PlayStation Store, Steam, and Epic Games Store. Developed by Arc System Works in collaboration with Marvel Games and PlayStation Studios, this 4v4 tag-team fighter represents the first Marvel fighting game built on Unreal Engine 5 with full cross-platform play between console and PC.
Pre-orders opened February 19, 2026 on PlayStation Store and PC storefronts. PC pre-orders in select Asian territories began February 20, 2026 for New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
Regional Release Times
Most territories worldwide receive the game on August 6, 2026 at 3:00 PM UTC on PlayStation Store. PlayStation 5 and PC launch August 7, 2026 in New Zealand, Australia, Japan, and Korea due to timezone differences — these regions receive the game at local midnight on August 7.
Physical PS5 copies are available in Japan (ECJS-00054) with full multi-language support including English text, menus, and voice acting selectable from the options menu. Japanese physical imports support cross-platform multiplayer with PC and Western PS5 versions.
Platforms and Cross-Play
MARVEL Fighting Souls is available exclusively on PlayStation 5 and PC — there is no PS4, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch version. Full cross-platform play between PS5 and PC is confirmed at launch, allowing friends on different platforms to compete together in online lobbies supporting up to 64 players.
Local multiplayer supports 1-2 players offline. The game requires an internet connection and PlayStation Network or Steam account for online play. Episode Mode provides single-player content requiring no online connection.
Before Launch — Open Beta
If you want to play before release, the global Open Beta runs July 24–26, 2026 on both PS5 and PC. No pre-order or invitation is required — simply download the beta client from your platform store during the test window. Blade joins as a newly playable character during this beta period.
