Local multiplayer supports 1–2 players offline. Online play needs an internet connection plus a PlayStation Network or Steam / Epic account. Episode Mode, Training, All-Star Arena, and Arcadia Rumble (offline CPU) do not require online access.
After the Open Beta
The global Open Beta (July 24–26, 2026) is finished — beta progress does not carry over. Steam peaked at 33,233 concurrent players during the test, a fighting-game open-beta record. Arc System Works confirmed launch-patch priorities for PC performance, rollback, shaders, and cross-play stability.
