Samurai Outriders – MARVEL Fighting Souls
Samurai Outriders team guide — Ghost Rider, Blade, Deadpool, and Loki playstyles in MARVEL Fighting Souls.
The Samurai Outriders were the final team revealed for MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, completing the launch roster at EVO 2026. Led by Ghost Rider, this faction blends supernatural powers with trickster tactics and fourth-wall-breaking humor. The team represents fighters who operate outside conventional hero-villain boundaries.
Ghost Rider (Giancarlo Sabogal) anchors many tier lists in S-tier thanks to his Vengeance Gauge mechanic that grows stronger as he takes damage. His chain attacks provide long-range pressure and his hellfire Super Skills deliver massive area damage. Ghost Rider serves as the ideal anchor for teams built around sustained pressure.
Blade, Deadpool, and Loki
Blade (Imari Williams) joins as a newly playable character during the July 2026 Open Beta. The Daywalker brings vampire hunter aggression with sword-based combos and anti-supernatural tools. Deadpool (Nolan North) adds unpredictable mix-ups and fourth-wall-breaking attack animations that keep opponents guessing.
Loki (Jason Spisak) provides trickster setplay with illusion-based attacks and teleport misdirection. The Asgard stage accompanies this team's reveal, featuring the golden realm of the Norse gods. Samurai Outriders excel in high-risk, high-reward gameplay that punishes predictable opponents.
Competitive Presence
Ghost Rider's Vengeance Gauge makes him one of the most popular anchor choices in competitive team builds. Pairing him with Star-Lord point and Doctor Doom assist creates the Zoning Control composition that dominates early beta meta discussions.
Blade's addition in the Open Beta will likely shift tier placements as players discover his optimal assist routes and combo extensions. Test all four Outriders during the July 24–26 beta window to find your preferred supernatural playstyle.
